Biography

Aidan Rowe is an accomplished composer, performer and arranger who has been studying piano for over 24 years. In 2003, Aidan attended Belmont University in Nashville, TN to pursue a bachelor's degree in Composition and Arranging. While studying at there, Aidan had the opportunity to write for Belmont's orchestra and jazz big band, among many other groups. Since then, she has been blessed to work with film composer and string arranger Kristin Wilkinson, allowing her to work for artists such as Sara Bareilles, Stevie Nicks, Taylor Swift, Ben Folds, Trey Anastasio, and others on hundreds of string and orchestral recordings.

Aidan recently graduated as one of 20 people in the University of Southern California's "Scoring For Motion Picture and TV" graduate program. Since being at USC, she has studied with well-know film and TV composers such as Christopher Young and Bruce Broughton. She was also awarded the "ASCAP Foundation Betty Rose Scholarship" (late wife of film and TV composer, David Rose), and was honored at the ASCAP Foundation Awards Ceremony in New York City in December 2013. She was also chosen to participate in the ASCAP NYU Film Scoring workshop under full scholarship given by the Sorel Foundation for "Women in Film".

She has also worked with music supervisor G. Marq Roswell on the soundtrack for The Great Debaters starring Denzel Washington, and Country Strong starring Gwyneth Paltrow. Aidan played, orchestrated or acted as copyist for the following television awards shows and sitcoms: The CMA Awards (2009, 2011, 2012), DOVE Awards, and Disney Channel's "Handy Manny."
