Bartosch McCarthy is an award-winning composer and jazz pianist. From an early age on, he has had a passion for film and video games, in particular their music. Viewing these media not only as a form of entertainment but also as an art, it was a logical step for him to combine this fascination with his love of creating music, and to pursue a career as a composer for media.
In 2014, Bartosch was one of the award winners in the "Oticons Faculty International Film Music Competition". Earlier the same year, he was one of 16 featured composers in the international "Bleeding Fingers" composition competition organized by Hans Zimmer and Extreme Music, selected from over 6,000 submissions.
